NSi is Once Again Cycling in the ADA Tour de Cure
The NSi Cycling Team is once again riding for a cure in the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure on June 2nd in Reston, VA. The Tour de Cure is an annual ride held in 44 states that raises awareness and funds to help fight diabetes. Last year Team NSi raised $20K for the ADA, and this year we’re setting the bar even higher with a goal of $30K!

AutoStore 6.0 SharePoint Component Update
Today, NSi updated the SharePoint route component for use with AutoStore 6.0 service pack 1, the latest released version of AutoStore.
This build provides additional capabilities from the SharePoint 2010 route component, renamed to SharePoint since it now supports both 2010 and 2013 of SharePoint.
The list of changes include:
Added support for SharePoint Server 2013. Added support for SharePoint 2013 Workflow in Native Services connection mode. Added support for a web application with Claims Based Authentication through cookies provided by a trusted identity provider. Fixed issue with uploading to a document library. Check out and check in with the document library only occurs when a required field is absent. Added option to allow buffering. Default value of the checkbox “Allow buffering” is “On” for backward compatibility and “Off” for a new configuration. Today, NSi updated the OCR and Professional Bar Code components for use with AutoStore 6.0 service pack 1, the latest released version of AutoStore.
This build includes the following enhancements:
Added option “Per page PDF export” for per-page synthesis of output document to a PDF format. Added option “Per page synthesis” for per-page synthesis of output document. Fixed issue where deskewing an image resulted in visible artifacts. Added support to skip deskewing when “Detect orientation” is set to ON. Options “Detect text color” and “Detect background color” are now set to ON by default. Fixed issue with exporting to DOCX format and value of “Save in Word’97 or later format” was not reset.Note: *****This Updates Package Requires the latest AutoStore 6 Framework Extensions Setup v6.00*****

Tulane University in New Orleans is expanding its use of a document capture, processing, and routing system campuswide in an effort to streamline its business processes further.
The university tapped AutoStore from Notable Solutions Inc. (NSi) beginning a few years ago “to serve as a backbone for many of its business processes across a variety of departments,” according to NSi. Now the university is planning to double its use of the system beginning in the 2013-2014 academic year.

Today, NSi updated the Xerox EIP component for use with AutoStore 6.0 service pack 1, thev latest released version of AutoStore.
This build includes the following enhancements:
Fixed issue where the device logged in user was not impersonated when the “Use authenticated user credentials for browsing” option is checked. Added support for temporary repositories to use HTTP (or HTTPS if the web server is configured for SSL). Fixed issue where the AutoStore application did not localize when using Windows authentication at the device panel. Added an option to create and assign a self-signed Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate for the web server port, the mobile service port and the data service port. AutoStore 6.0 Konica Minolta Component Update
Today, NSi updated the Konica Minolta capture component for use with AutoStore 6.0 service pack 1, the latest released version of AutoStore.
This build addresses several minor modifications for the following issues:
Fixed issue where the AutoStore service would hang when encountering a scanning job that did not include an image file that should have been included. Now, the scanning job will be rejected and processing will resume. Fixed issue where clicking the “Force Update” button after adding a faulty device or a certain number of devices resulted in the AutoStore service terminating.
