AutoCapture extends Autostore's capture capabilities to the user desktop and captures files using the Windows Explorer or Microsoft Office plugins. Any file type, such as a Microsoft Word or an image file, can be captured into the Autostore workflow, and then sent to a document management system or other back-end application. Easy-to-use, just right-click on the file, enter required index data, and click Send. The document will be automatically routed to the appropriate AUTOSTORE workflow.

Using AutoCapture, files can be captured in a uniform way from Windows Desktops into a file system, or they can be forwarded as an email/fax to other departments. The administrator simply creates processes that the user can access by right-clicking on a document and then entering any required information. The AutoCapture client will forward the document to the AutoStore server, which will then process it.
