AutoCapture for Notes allows the capture of information from any IBM Lotus Notes database and makes it available in any other business application. The AutoCapture client is integrated into the Lotus Notes client and allows the end-user to capture documents ad-hoc, add further information and send the information into any back-end application. Therefore the client can be used to archive Emails, but also any other information from a Notes application like a Workflow or CRM System.

AutoCapture for Lotus Notes was built from the beginning on Lotus Notes technologies. Therefore it is managed in a Lotus Notes database, also being integrated into the Notes security model. Capturing documents happens in a way that all Notes fields are made a available into AutoStore values, which can mapped into other applications. Besides the field information, the AutoCapture client also routes all attached documents.
